Portable Low Radiation X-ray :
Appropriate & Safe for radiograph diagnosis for all kids from 0 to 12 years.
Scaling & Polishing :
Cleaning of teeth to remove plaque deposits that harbour all bacteria causing bad breath and dental caries.
Fluoride Application :
Preventive Tooth Supplement For Kids To Reduce Risk Of Tooth Decay
Fillings & Sealants :
In case of superficial decay of the milk teeth fillings can be done ( GIC, Composite etc) Sealants are a liquid paste material which is applied on the molars to seal off the deep grooves on these teeth, which otherwise are highly susceptible to food lodgement eventually leading to Dentak Caries.
Baby Teeth Root Canals :
a) Pulpotomy - half root canal in baby teeth
b) Pulpectomy - full root canal in baby teeth
Stainless Steel Crown (SSC) :
Caps given on the milk molars usually after the tooth has undergone a pulpotomy or pulpectomy to reinforce it with adequate strength required for chewing on food.
Extraction :
Some times baby teeth prolong their stay in the child's mouth even after the permanent tooth has started coming out. They need to be immediately extracted.
Also, in case of advanced infections causing complete degradation & mobility of certain milk teeth they need to be immediately extracted
Laughing Gas/Conscious Sedation/ Happy Air :
(Nitrous-Oxide Oxygen Inhalation Conscious Sedation) for Kids is a method of making them anxiety free enabling them to cope up with stressful & also invasive dental procedures being absolutely alert, responsive to commands and conscious at all times.
General Anaesthesia :
For children below or upto 3 years and also those with special health needs, requiring full mouth oral rehabilitation ; all procedures are done in the hospital setup by making the child unconscious. The entire procedure involving as many teeth & as many procedures is achieved in a single visit itself.
Congenital Teeth :
Natal tooth : Babies with teeth present on their gumpads at the time of birth
Neonatal Tooth : Babies with teeth developing on their gumpad after birth within the 1st month of life
Intra Oral Camera :
We at Kidz Dental Centre use a unique gadget called the INTRAORAL CAMERA to show the complete inside condition of the child’s mouth showcasing all the teeth having cavities in the form of a live video and pictures on a HD screen monitor. This helps parents witness the actual oral health condition of their child’s mouth and also understand better the severity of the dental problem.
